Why we built LiveTrans
Smaller organizations often need multilingual access without the equipment and preparation required for a full interpretation setup. LiveTrans turns microphone input into translated captions that can be shown on a projector or shared to audience phones with a QR code.
What the product does
An operator selects the spoken language and up to two translation languages. LiveTrans then displays the source speech and translated captions in real time. Audience links are read-only and do not require an account or app installation.
What it does not replace
Automatic speech recognition and translation can make mistakes, especially with names, technical terms, noise, or overlapping speakers. Qualified human interpreters should be used for legal, medical, safety-critical, contractual, or other high-risk communication.
