How does real-time speech translation work?
The operator selects the spoken language and translation languages, allows microphone access, and starts the session. LiveTrans turns the speech it hears into translated captions as the speaker talks.
Can LiveTrans show more than one translation language?
Yes. You can display one or two target languages at the same time, which is useful for multilingual events, conferences, classes, and worship services.
What equipment and internet connection do I need?
You need a device with a supported web browser, microphone access, and a stable internet connection. For a venue, place the microphone near the speaker and connect the caption view to a projector or shared display if needed.
How is live translation time charged?
LiveTrans uses prepaid translation credits instead of a subscription. Active translation time is deducted from your balance in 10-second increments.
